Louise told us:
“I live with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis in my knees and feet and for over a decade I was taking prescribed opioids which are an extremely strong pain medication that over time made me much worse, you can learn more about my experience in a thirty-minute film from 2019. Since coming off those meds and learning about pain and activity management I wanted to share what id learned with others who might be like I was, so my wife Karen and I set up the walking group at Decoy Park in Newton Abbot, which has been running for three years now, and a year ago I started another from Gaia and EVERYONE is welcome to join” Whether you want to bring your children in a buggy, come with friends or meet new people, the Winner Street Walkers is the perfect opportunity to start becoming more active, get some fresh air, and explore your local community.
