El Eden is a distinguished coffee blend sourced from 16 entrepreneurial farmers in the Armenia, Quindío region of Colombia. The name "El Eden" is derived from the venue where the farmers regularly convene to discuss best practices, share business insights, and explore new opportunities. The venue, Rancho Eden, has become more than just a meeting place—it symbolises the collaborative spirit and commitment to quality that defines the coffee produced here. The coffee plants, primarily varieties of Castillo and Catimor, are cultivated meticulously. After picking, the coffee is typically processed using a wet method on the same day to preserve its freshness and intrinsic flavours.
In roasting El Eden, we employ an Omni roast style to enhance the coffee’s innate qualities. This approach not only develops its rich chocolate and hazelnut notes but also maintains the subtle, fruity nuances of peach and melon. The result is a well-rounded coffee that appeals to various palates and is perfect for any coffee lover.
El Eden Coffee embodies the collective effort of a community dedicated to excellence. It stands as a testament to the region’s rich coffee culture and the remarkable capabilities of its local farmers. It is a celebration of heritage, teamwork, and the relentless pursuit of quality that characterises Colombian coffee.
